Pleasant DeSpain
Pleasant DeSpain (yes, that’s
his real name) is a pioneer of America’s storytelling renaissance, a world
traveler, and author of 17 multicultural story collections. Pleasant has
built his career on the fundamental belief that we, as humans,
are far more alike than we are different, no matter the skin color,
geography, religion, or socioeconomic status. “We’re all natural storytellers,” says
Pleasant, “and when we share
our stories, we come alive.” Former university instructor and television producer,
writer, and host, Pleasant has spent the past 30 years traveling throughout
the world, discovering,
writing, and telling his tales. In addition, Pleasant brings stories
and training to educational and corporate settings. |

Rabbi Yehuda Berg
Rabbi Yehuda Berg was born and raised in Israel
as well as the United States. Rabbi Berg is a graduate of Yeshiva Sha'ar HaTorah in New York City.
He is an ordained Rabbi from Yeshiva Knesset Israel in Jerusalem. Yehuda has been studying with his
father, Kabbalist Rav Berg, since he was a child, and is a leading authority on Kabbalah. Yehuda
edited The Kabbalah Centre’s editions of "The Kabbalistic Daily Prayer Book" and "The Kabbalistic
Shabbat Prayer Book". He is Religious Director of The Kabbalah Children’s Academy and lives in
Los Angeles and New York with his wife and two children. Yehuda plays an instrumental role in
making the wisdom and tools of Kabbalah available and accessible to millions of people worldwide.
In this capacity, he has helped reach people of many nationalities and faiths, all of whom hunger
for the spiritual truths Kabbalah offers.
